il/elle pour quelque chose de neutre (sauf animaux de compagnie) = it
nous = we
vous = you
ils/elles = they
a- Bruce is American. He 's from Boston. (Bruce = il= he masculin singulier)
b- How old is Natalya ? She's 12. (Natalya = elle = she féminin singulier)
c- Mark and Joe go to Chessington school. They are in Year 7 (Mark and Joe = ils = they )
d- Is the mouse in the bin ? No, it isn't. (the mouse = neutre = it)
logiquement, on emploie
she ----> pour une personne sexe féminin singulier
he ------->pour une personne sexe masculin singulier
it ---------->pour une chose ou animal au singulier.. (exception quand on parle d'un animal de compagnie "a pet" en anglais, on le personnalise en employant 'he' ou 'she')
they ------> ils/elles .. toutes les 3e personnes pluriel
