le superlatif en anglais

Si tu maîtrise le comparatif de supériorité, cela t'aidera ...

adj. longs :

the most + adj

adj. courts :

the  + adj. + est

the + bad = the baddest // the + fat = the fattest// the + big = the biggest)

the +  adj. Y + iest = pretty :  the prettiest // funny : the funniest

je n'avais pas vu ta pièce jointe !!!

donc ..

- adjectifs courts = adj. + -est the longest / the smallest

-  (1 syllabe 2 cons. (cons. voy. cons.) --> on double la consonne (voir au-dessus)

- finissant par -y = adj. + iest (voir au-dessus)

the most beautiful

les exceptions sont inscrites ....

- Mary is the most beautiful girl of my friends.

- Tom is the smartest boy of my class.

- This movie was the funniest I have ever seen // Lucy is the funniest girl at school.
